EOI Airborne Survey

The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Sustainable Management of Mineral Resources Project (SMMRP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to cover eligible payments for Conducting High Resolution Airborne Geophysical Survey.


TheMinistry of Energy and Minerals now invites Expressions of Interest from eligible consultants/Contractors for Conducting High Resolution Airborne Geophysical Surveyunder SMMRP as described hereunder.

 






 







    1. Area I: Lupa Goldfield. Consists of 3 contiguous QDSs (227, 228 and 229) covering approximately 8,748 sq. km in size and consists of 40588 line kilometers. High resolution airborne survey in the area will delineate mineralized shear zones.

    2. Area II: Singida-Handeni corridor. Consists of 31 contiguous QDSs covering approximately 90,396sq. km and 419, 412 line kilometers. High resolution airborne geophysical survey in these areas will delineate the extension limits of the shear zones and the ultramafic rocks.
